Five kilometer’s doesn’t sound a great distance, whether you run it or just walk it with a group of friends and have a good laugh on the way.

If you fancy being first over the line (and the winner usually does it in about 16 minutes), then you may need to do a bit of training!

But the we advise taking your time and being careful. However athletic you are, it is important to prepare immediately before the event and we suggest entrants arrive an hour before the start of the run to and conduct your own warm up routine.
